These storyboards focused on transforming a guided meditation—typically a deeply abstract, introspective experience—into a visually engaging, linear format. The goal was to create a companion piece that could serve as a visual tool to accompany the audio meditation, enhancing the overall experience.
Stardust: A Journey to Remember | Storyboards for Animated Version of the Book
Using the original art I created for the print version of the book, I created these storyboards to help translate the book from print to animation format, which required different strategies for the different storytelling medium, like the aspect ratio as well as a more linear narrative experience compared to the self directed “reader’s experience where the whole images can be taken in at once. It was important to honor it as a book, but also to tell a good story for the new medium. Finding creative ways to guide the viewer’s attention was one of my favorite parts of the process, especially with transitioning between pages.
